Food to Combat Fatigue

As a result of several weeks of quarantine, you may be feeling a little tired.

It’s understandable that, with our lives stuck on repeat, maintaining high energy levels seems like an unnecessary burden during this time.

However, there are foods that can provide you with energy to keep you productive throughout COVID-19, so that you can stay on track to finish your personal goals and continue meeting your New Year’s resolutions -remember those?

Check out our Kid-O-Friendly list, adapted from Heathline.com.

1. AVOCADO SMASH ON WHOLE WHEAT TOAST

This is a powerful combination of complex carbohydrates (whole wheat bread) and Vitamin A and C (avocado).

2. EGG + SPINACH OMELETTE

This is a double hit of protein, sprinkled with Vitamin’s A, C and Potassium and Calcium (spinach)

3. PLAIN YOGURT + WATERMELON CHUNKS WITH HONEY DRIZZLE
